In Malawi, PIH’s main stakeholder is the MoH. At service delivery level, PIH complements Malawi’s MoH through placement of Human Resource for Health (HRH) in 123 MoH facilities in 9 districts. The HRH is made up of professional and lay health care workers providing direct service delivery, mentorship and capacity building, as well as support towards data management. At national level, PIH supports MoH in the development of HIV and TB policies, guidelines and implementation science lessons that guide and inform programming.
