The Diagnostics Department at Partners in Hope is comprises two integral sections: Laboratory Services and Radiology. Together, these units offer a comprehensive suite of diagnostic tools designed to support clinical care, program implementation, and public health interventions.

Laboratory Services

Our laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art, high-tech equipment, enabling us to deliver accurate and reliable diagnostic testing across a wide range of disciplines, including:

•     Hematology
•     Clinical Chemistry
•     Immunology
•     Microbiology
•     Flow Cytometry
•     Parasitology
•     Molecular Biology

In addition to providing routine diagnostic services for Moyo and Dalitso Clinics, as well as referred patients, the Laboratory plays a key role in supporting program implementation through biomedical diagnostic interventions.

Through a robust public-private partnership, our laboratory also processes diagnostic samples from Ministry of Health facilities, extending our impact beyond our walls and contributing to national healthcare efforts.

The Radiology Department is a vital component of our diagnostic offering. We provide a wide range of imaging services, including:

• General  X-Rays using an advanced Digital Machine
• Ultrasound services includes guided procedures and Cardiac Echocardiograms (ECHOs)

Additionally, the Radiology Department plays a key role in screening services for migrant VISA processing, serving multiple international destinations and ensuring compliance with global health screening standards.
