Mission Statement
To have a significant impact on the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Malawi and in the lives of people infected and effected by HIV in a way which brings glory to God and demonstrates Christ's love in word and deed
Core Philosophies
- Eternal Impact- To not only care for the physical, but the spiritual needs of our patients, their families and their communities through staff and clinic devotions, spiritual "rounds" and being transparent about the motivation of our work
- Nationalization - To empower Malawian nationals to have leadership in all areas of our work and align our work with National partners and priorities
- Training - Investing in the lives of Malawians to equip them to be effective in their fight against HIV/AIDS through training partnerships with other hospitals, the Malawi College of Health Sciences, and peer and community health educators.
- Sustainability - To develop strategies to sustain and grow the work in order to become independent of foreign assistance. At Partners in Hope, fees from our Dalitso clinic help to subsidize the cost of care in our free Moyo HIV clinic.
- Transparency and Accountability - Openness and honesty in all our financial and operational policies, procedures and actions.
